An Unforgettable Evening to Raise Funds for the ALS Super Fund

This Thursday! Jim will be joined by Devin Cuddy, Sam Polley and Anne Lindsay and host Ron MacLean for the “Courage To Fight”.  This fundraiser is in support of the ALS Super Fund which to date has raised 1.3 million dollars for ALS.

This free, virtual event is dedicated to raising awareness and support for ALS research, bringing together passionate individuals who are committed to making a real difference in the fight against this devastating disease.

It promises to be a powerful evening filled with inspiring stories, performances, and more — all aimed at making a lasting impact in the fight against ALS.

Congratulations to Jim Cuddy & Greg Keelor who will be amongst this years inductees into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame! 

Jim and Greg, along with Tom Cochrane, Diane Tell and Sarah McLachlan, will be celebrated during an induction ceremony at Massey Hall in Toronto on September 28. The evening will include presenters and performers who are still to be announced.

Tickets for the induction ceremony and show will go on sale to the public on Friday, May 31, through Ticketmaster.

Jim Cuddy has announced his new album, All The World Fades Away, set for release on June 14th.  The new album, Cuddy’s fifth solo effort, sees the legendary songwriter making the most of a rare abundance of time to reflect, tinker, and create, drawing from his decades of experiences with an eye for appreciating the journey life has given him.

Cuddy says, “You sort of enter a dream state when you begin writing. And I’ve begun to wonder why some images have stayed with me over the years and others haven’t. So yes, this album is about looking back.  However, I tried to make sure the record is affirming of life as it is now, reflecting how much I like where I’m at today. It’s not wrapping up or being nostalgic for old times. It’s just… surveying.”

Three years in the making, All The World Fades Away was recorded with co-producers Tim Vesely and guitarist Colin Cripps, as well as drummer Joel Anderson, bassist Bazil Donovan, violinist Anne Lindsay, keyboardist Steve O’Connor. The album also features guest appearances from Cuddy’s Blue Rodeo bandmate, Greg Keelor, and Canadian singer-songwriter Jenn Grant, who contributed vocals on the song “Scars” and created several videos for the album as well.
